The Blue Yonder (TBY) is a pioneering Responsible Travel based in India. Set up in 2004 to support river conservation, the for profit organisation created a sustainable financial model to create wealth based on community based tourism with a focus on triple bottom line responsibility. TBY has won more than 20 international awards including World Travel Market Responsible Tourism Awards and prestigious TODO! Awards in 2013 for Socially Responsible Tourism business. Highly commended at the Conde Nast Travel World Savers Awards, The Blue Yonder’s trips were promoted by Conde Nast Traveler USA amongst ‘8 Great Trips that give back to communities’
Currently The Blue Yonder is setting up a new travel initiative based on the concept of ‘conscious travel’ in partnership with Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry as part of it’s work to “create better places for people to live and for people to visit”.

Both Shilpa and Claudia work for ConsciousLab voluntarily in addition to their ‘full time day jobs’. Both have no personal gain from this work or trip. They simply live their life purpose to raise consciousness in business, and are inspired and excited to have the opportunity to be in the presence of like minded leaders who purposely challenge the norm, who are visionary and curious to explore new paradigms in thinking and ‘being’. What better to spend some quality, transformational time together!
